Greg Holden - The Lost Boy

Greg Holden - The Lost Boy Tube.

Duration : 3.40 Mins.

You can buy this song at bit.ly You can stream this song at www.gregholdenonline.com Thank you to the amazing response to this song in The Netherlands, and now also the USA. This song was inspired by the book "What is the What?" by American writer Dave Eggers. It is about a Sudanese Refugee called Valentino Achak Deng and it is truly one of the most devastating but inspiring books I've ever read. Please read it. And if you want to support the cause and help the ongoing project for his village of Marial Bai in South Sudan, check out http please. The song was originally released last Christmas after being used throughout the annual Radio 3FM charity campaign 'Serious Request' in the Netherlands. Serious Request raised €8600000 for Red Cross last year which is incredible. I was truly honoured to be a part of such an amazing campaign and will never forget it. It was also recently used in the American TV show 'Son's Of Anarchy' during a funeral service for a character called Opie, which has generated new interest in the song. I couldn't be happier that more people are hearing this song. Although I'm so excited for this new exposure, and glad people can relate to it in a different context, I'd really love it if people could still remember what the song is truly about. A REAL problem, something that continues to happen and that so many people do not know about. Thank you so much everyone. Love in Africa: A Collection of African Love Quotes
Love in Africa: A Collection of African Love Quotes

Many women including myself like to claim that the male segment of our population knows nothing about love and romance. African men in particular get a lot of criticism for been un-romantic and incapable of expressing their emotions. From personal experience I would say that this is not true, some of the most romantic men I have dated are African. However, what is romance really? I like to define it as the expression of love. In this article I define romance through the use of some of my favorite African love quotes. These African quotes give us a glimpse into African culture and views on life. They are a part of African history and show us that love and the expression of love are universal. So in defense of my romantic African brothers here are some African love sayings, enjoy them and for all the men out there feel free to use them this Valentines Day to show your beloved just how much you care.
